You need a hosted SaaS option with no infrastructure to manage: Docmost has no public cloud or free hosted tier. All plans require self-hosting with Docker Compose, PostgreSQL, and Redis. If you need SSO (SAML 2.0/OIDC/LDAP), page-level permissions, AI, or Confluence import without running an Enterprise plan ($3.50/seat/month, minimum 10 seats), those features are behind the proprietary Enterprise license.
Open-core model: SSO (SAML 2.0/OIDC/LDAP), page-level permissions, AI capabilities, Confluence import, attachment search, MFA, API keys, SCIM provisioning, and audit logs are in proprietary ee/ directories and require a paid Business ($3.50/seat/month) or Enterprise plan. AGPL-3.0 copyleft applies to the core: modifications offered over a network require publishing source changes.
