You want a managed cloud SaaS without server maintenance. Easy!Appointments is install-it-yourself: you supply the server, PHP stack, and MySQL database. No hosted free tier exists (managed hosting is available as a paid professional service by the maintainer, but requires a custom quote).
GPL-3.0 license means any modified version you distribute must also be GPL-3.0. Self-hosting requires a LAMP/LEMP stack (Apache or Nginx, PHP 8.2+, MySQL) and manual setup via a web wizard. No built-in multi-tenant hosting: each installation serves one business. The Docker image on Docker Hub (alextselegidis/easyappointments) is publisher-maintained by the project author, not a Docker Official Image.

"EasyAppointments (https://github.com/alextselegidis/easyappointments) is still FOSS. We managed our team calendars on it at a previous company, but I rolled out Cal.com due to more apparent support and sophistication at my current company. Turns out most of that sophistication turned out to be bloat: we saw successive version releases add features we didn't care about while increasingly putting previously open features, like team calendars, behind a paywall. This move by Cal.com seems to be transparently an attempt to maintain that paywall against users who'd otherwise just use LLMs to remove it. I guess it's back to EasyAppointments, which still seems to work just fine."
